2012 in Review

What did the year look like?

I decided to apply for my Masters of Education in Teacher-Librarianship, got accepted, and completed 2/10 classes. It's been tough, but also really good. I'm learning so much and making some new connections. Since I haven't gotten a contract yet, I'm also hoping it will help out in that department.

I did not add to the crazy cat lady collection except in books. Read lots of books and hope to read even more next year. Just need to budget my time a little more wisely. Best reading spot in 2012? Next to the ocean on Maui. Sooo nice. Not too hot or too cold, slight breeze, beautiful scenery, and the waves crashing on the shore. Perfect.

Speaking of budgets ~cough~ ~cough~ also a resolution. Sold my car and got Mom's. Officially became debt free. Started looking for a house - what an emotional roller-coaster - think I've finally come to rest with 'don't do it until you have a contract.' Will be nice to experience this debt freeness for a while.

Still haven't finished a quilting project...

We'll see how far and wide 2013 takes me. I am most hoping to move out and get a full-time job... and, of course, fall in love :D
